Originated in the polder and created by people who started pioneering with a clear vision, Dronten has grown into a modern municipality of 43,000 inhabitants and is still growing and innovating today. Nowadays we face several challenges, such as a shortage of housing, health care shortages and a changing climate. New pioneers are standing up, with a vision for a sustainable future of the municipality. You are invited by the municipality of Dronten to join the discussion about that future.

We would like a talk with you
On October 3, 4, 5 and 10, conversations on various topics will be organized in Swifterbant, Dronten and Biddinghuizen. Additionally, there will be an online meeting on October 11. The focus of these meetings will be: how do you live, work or recreate in the future? What do you believe is important in terms of housing, nature, climate, welfare, education or transportation? What do you want to preserve, remove, add or improve? You can join the themes that you would like to discuss.

On the direction for Dronten
These conversations are an important part of creating the vision for the future of the municipality of Dronten. How will we grow as a municipality? And how do we deal with the challenges of our time? As a (current and future) resident, you are an essential part of this society. And therefore, you have an important voice in shaping an even more pleasant municipality.

Below is the schedule of when and where you can join the conversation. Entry and exit times are free, so please join the conversations at your convenience. We can be found at the following locations:

- Monday October 3^th , 17:30-19:30 at the Buitenplaats in Ketelhaven
- Tuesday October 4^th, 17:30-21:30 at the Steiger in Swifterbant
- Wednesday October 5^th, 17:30-21:30 at the Meerpaal in Dronten
- Monday October 10^th, 17:30-21:30 at the Binding in Biddinghuizen
- Tuesday October 11^th, 20:00-21:30 online meeting
